AutoClerk Interface to In-Room Pay Movies
AutoClerk interfaces to the following:
- Inn-Streams
Innstreams emulates the OnCommand.
- LodgeNet
Communication is via RS232 serial connection. Protocols are 9600 (configurable) baud, No parity, 8 Databits, 1 Stopbit. Lodgenet will leave you a 25 pin male cable. Only lines 2, 3 and 5 pass through. If connecting to a 25 pin on our side, all you need is a 25pin F/F gender changer. If connecting to a 9 pin on our side, a normal null modem is required. Ie: Lines 2 and 3 are exchanged (reverse transmit and recieve).
Vendor Info: Requires a 'Type 3 Interface level', position #3 'Standard BOI'. This is for posting only, with a handshake (ack/nack), and is the only Lodgenet interface we support. 'Simple BOI' is posting only, no handshake, 'BOIplus' is posting with in-room folio display, video checkout, pay-type restrictions, etc.
