New Reservation Form

Reservation screens, as well as checkin screens, allow for easy manipulation of date fields. While the cursor is on a date field, the date is converted to a numerical format.

If a guest is staying five days after arrival, all that's necessary is to press "5" and press . AutoClerk knows to add five days to the arrival date, moves to the next field and converts the numeric format to a verbose form showing month, date, year, and day of week.

Sample Reservation

AutoClerk provides a reservation form that is laid out so that the most important information is entered first. After only entering the arrival, departure, number of rooms, and room type, you can press <+>, and AutoClerk will check availability.

When entering data, AutoClerk provides a number of short cuts. For example: Instead of entering the date, you can simply enter the number of nights, and even though you enter a numeric date, AutoClerk displays the date for you in plain English. AutoClerk has short cuts through out the system. Whether it be dates, room types, rate classes, sources. AutoClerk even allows you to enter city ledger account numbers in the place of the company name. After entering the account number, AutoClerk types out the actual name and address. Finally you can press <F1> in the last name, company or travel agency fields to access profiles.
