Report Formats
AutoClerk offers a comprehensive selection of report output formats. Operators may display to the screen by two methods, output to a printer, or store a report as a file.
When a report is requested, AutoClerk asks:
- E - Directs report to Editor (Windows Notepad).
- D - Directs report to the screen.
- P - Directs report to the Windows default printer
- 1 - Directs report to printers available thru Windows(1 thru as many printers
as you have installed in Windows).
- M - Is available for confirmation letters and cancellation letters, directs
output to AutoClerk's email client.
- F - Directs report to a disk file. A default name is supplied, but you may
indicate any file name and disk you wish. The file will reside on the computer's
hard disk or the diskette you indicated. The file can be transmitted to another
location, or saved for later viewing.
- B - Directs report to the screen but allows the user to freely page forwards
and backwards, page-by-page or line-by-line. You may also jump to the beginning
or end of the report. In addition, B(rowse allows you to look for any character
string (e.g., words, names, amounts, etc.) within the report.
- O - Indicates that there is more that one way to run the report. This means
that the novice is not confused by a lot of different questions, but the experienced
user can easily tap into the great power of AutoClerk.
