A quick glance at the main menu reveals a lot about AutoClerk's ease of use and thoughtfulness. The property name, address and phone numbers are easily visible at the bottom right-hand part of the screen. New clerks will especially appreciate this. At the bottom center is the current date, shift and clerk's initials.
AutoClerk is flexible in the types of user interfaces it offers and they way they can be implemented. AutoClerk supports touchscreens, mouse and keyboard entry.
Menu selections are one-character mnemonics for typical front desk tasks: "C" for Walk-in, "P" for Post, and so on. A clerk will very often be able to pick up the rudiments of AutoClerk by simply selecting corresponding menu items. AutoClerk, Inc. has made every attempt to use familiar, hotel industry terms to describe menus, menu choices and reports.
AutoClerk supports standard button menus that can be customized depending on the needs of the department. Any item, form or report can be placed on the desktop and directly accessed by keyboard as well as mouse.
