AutoClerk Install Checklist
- By following our minimum specifications
as posted on our web site. you will minimize installation time and maximize
operational stability.
- Go with one of our certified hardware partners.(Certified
Vendors) They have already invested the time to learn what our system
requires, while other vendors will be starting from ground zero.
- When choosing a vendor for a 3rd party system to interface with AutoClerk
( such as Call Accounting, Phone Switches, and Restaurant POS), ask yourself
the following questions: "Does this vendor represent a system that currently
interfaces with AutoClerk? Check their references to determine their familiarity
with the hotel industry? A vendor with little or no hotel experience may not
be aware of your special needs as a hotelier. This can create longer installation
time that may be billable, may delay implementation, and may ultimately indicate
issues that may impact your day to day operations in the future.".
- Hire said vendor. Do not try to do it yourself! Installing interfaces and running cable can be a very time consuming job.
It can also be fairly complicated if not done just so. Your job as a hotelier is to work with guest and cater to their needs.
It is always better to hire a professional to be able to handle non hotel related jobs.
- Trust your pms vendor. We know hotels and inns. The trust you place in a
Property Management System is not only money spent as an initial purchase.
Of greater importance is the money you save through hiring our expertise in
technical areas, ongoing training as it pertains to your operational needs,
proper timing that supports implementing your goals, and the practical application
of the software's functions. Your needs become ours from the moment we meet
you."
- Your time with us is valued and valuable. We understand this and together
we can create a timeline for all the steps required to allow us to fulfill
your goals. We will do all we can to meet those goals and ask that our partnership
with you, your management and staff, and your chosen 3rd party vendorsbe clearly
and reasonably stated.
- Get a broadband connection such as DSL, Cable Modem, Satellite ...et.
High speed Internet is here to stay. Broadband is more
reliable, faster connections, which translates to faster and better support with remote
training capabilities. This will give you a less expensive installation due to reduced time involved.
