GARY GIBB

Gary began writing AutoClerk in 1981 and installed the program in the first hotel in 1985. Gary leads the programming team and heads the company. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in applied physics and information science from the University of California at San Diego in 1977. He is part owner of several independently operated hotels.

Ed is a hotel-industry veteran who started his first hotel job back in 1978. He joined Gary in 1981 and is co-author of AutoClerk. Ed has worked in everything from a 51 room property at San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf to a 380 room Marriott.

Operations Manager

Ed started in the hospitality industry back in 1974, with 11 of those years spent in hotel management and accounting. He has worked for AutoClerk off and on since 1990 and became full time in 2001. Besides managing operations, Ed handles testing and the development of tools to work with AutoClerk data such as ACT.




JONATHAN HAWKINS
Technical Support


Jonathan went to work for the Majestic Hotel in San Francisco in 1996. He spent the next 7 years as a front Desk agent, Front Office Manager, Reservations Manager, and Assistant General Manager for several different AutoClerk Hotels. Jonathan holds a bachelor degree from San Francisco State in Psychology. Jonathan joined AutoClerk in 2002.

J.W.T. (BILL) MEAKIN
Chief Programmer

From England by way of Southern Africa, Bill has a masters degree in mathematics from Cambridge University and has been programming systems software and business applications since 1976. He is the author of AutoClerk 2, our newest Windows version.

TONY MILLER
Programmer

Tony is a hotel night audit veteran, who started in 1985. Tony joined AutoClerk in 1995. He programs the user interface portion of AutoClerk. He graduated from California State University at Chico with a bachelor of arts degree.



DAVE VYE
Technical Support Manager

Dave begin his years of behind-the-desk hotel experience in 1986. He oversees the technical side of installations, including hardware and interface set up. He is a graduate of Pacific Union College with a bachelors degree in business administration.

PETE SIPILA
Office Support Manager

Pete started in hotels back in 1990. He has worked in both Best Western and Holiday Inn properties. He joined the AutoClerk team in 1995. Pete oversees the support crew during normal business hours.




Brenda Villosa
Support


Brenda has worked in hotels since 1980. In that time she has become an expert in both AutoClerk and The Best Western Systems. "Of the many years I have worked in the hotel industry, and the many different systems I used in my career, I have always enjoyed and believed in Autoclerk and I am very excited to be part of this team."




K. HOLLY MCGLOTHLIN
Technical Support and Lead Trainer

Holly began work in the hotel industry back in 1988 finishing up as an assistant manager at a small hotel in San Francisco. Before that she spent 10 years as a legal assistant before joining AutoClerk in 1997. A native East Coaster, she looks forward to AutoClerk's installations on the "other" coast.


GEORGE THORSTAD
Night Support Manager


George has logged years of hotel experience starting back in 1978. He was our first full time employee here at AutoClerk. George started with us back in 1987. He currently manages the Night Support crew.


CHARLOTTE GIBB
Graphic Designer


Charlotte graduated in 1986 from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco with a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design. Since 1987, she has handled all graphic design needs for AutoClerk Inc., including AutoClerk's main menu icon graphics, tradeshow booth, brochures, www.autoclerk.com, and the splash screen our users see when they boot up AutoClerk. Charlotte also shares some of the bookkeeping tasks for AutoClerk.



MARTY RUSSELL
Technical Support


Marty has worked in hotels since 1985, starting in Valdez, Alaska and ended up back in Seattle where he worked for a small independent property for over 11 years. His hotel background includes managing both operations as well as technical services. Marty’s last hotel property was an AutoClerk customer for over seven years.



LYNDA PETTERSEN
Bookkeeper


Lynda has been the bookkeeper for AutoClerk since 1989. She got her start in hotels back in 1974 at the Shattuck Hotel in Berkeley California. Lynda has a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University.


MELANIE BABSON
Support/Trainer


Melanie started in the hospitality industry in 1995 when she went to work for the Fantasy Inn and Wedding Chapel. She started as a sales agent and then continued on to the front desk (shift 1, shift 2, and audit), Wedding Office Manager, hotel Assistant Manager and Internet Sales/ Marketing. She is still active with their Website and Email Marketing. Melanie joined AutoClerk in May 2004 as off hours support and Trainer.


GABE HERNANDEZ
Technical Support


Gabriel started in the Hospitality Industry in 1995 at the Fantasy Inn in Lake Tahoe. After a long hiatus into the world of computer technology Gabriel began working in hospitality again performing various computer related and public relations tasks for Denver West Marriott, Golden, CO. He has come back to the coast and has provided his original hotel with a web site solution and many other marketing services before joining the AutoClerk team.

SCOTT WILLIFORD
Sales


Scott first entered the hotel industry back in 1997 at the Carlton Hotel in San Francisco. He started at the front desk. After two years, Scott moved into the sales department. Scott joined AutoClerk in 2004, starting in support, after about a year he moved to sales. Today, He oversees the majority of AutoClerk's sales efforts.


JOE VILLOSO
Support/Trainer


Joe started in hotels straight out of high school as a houseman in 1988. Moved to front desk shortly after, then sales, then front office management and for the last 11 years as general manager for various hotels including Embassy Suites, Marriots, Best Westerns, and Holiday Inns. Joe has been in the hotel industry most of his working career and Autoclerk has been in a lot of hotels he has worked at. "I believe in the product and hope that I can help make AutoClerk a force to be reckoned with in the world of property management systems."

Esther Gonzales
Support

Esther started her hotel career in 1972 at the Holiday Inn in Houston. Her hotel experience includes stints in Las Vegas, New Orleans, and San Francisco. Before coming to Autoclerk she held the position of reservations/revenue manager for the Carlton Hotel in San Francisco. She has been an Autoclerk user since 1988.

Kathy Jensen
Online Coordinator

Kathy first began working in the hotel industry in 1982 at the Hale Koa Hotel in Hawaii as Front Desk Clerk/Cashier, then Night Auditor. Her other positions in the hotels included: F&B Secretary, Catering Offices, and later Human Resources Manager/Trainer for the Hilton Hotels on Oahu. Kathy has a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University-Hawaii.

VANA PHIBBS
Administrative Assistant

Vana's experience with hotels began in sales for Hyatt Hotels in 1985.  She has a strong background in project development, implementation and support with a variety of organizations.  Vana currently works with Gary, and the AutoClerk team, in the area of data security compliance.
